The main goal of diagnostics is to predict the operability of equipment, and when signs of a dangerous condition appear, to determine the scope of restoration work before stopping for maintenance (repair).

Vibration diagnostics allows you to identify up to 95% of all mechanical defects such as:
  • defects in rolling and sliding bearings;

  • quality of installation of bearing units;

  • quality of repair work related to assembly/disassembly of the unit;

  • impeller imbalance, shaft failure;

  • impeller defects;

  • defects in coupling connections;

Vibration diagnostics are carried out on operating equipment. There is no need to disassemble the equipment to determine the current condition.

Stages of work to carry out vibration diagnostics of equipment or vibration monitoring of its condition:
1. preparatory:
  • collection and analysis of technical information about the equipment (name and technological number of the unit, kinematic diagram of the unit, nominal rotor speed of the unit, designations of bearings that are diagnosed, etc.);

  • drawing up a plan for conducting vibration diagnostics (determining the number of measurement points, determining and entering initial data into the program to carry out correct measurements, drawing up a route for vibration diagnostics).

2. diagnostic:
  • carrying out measurements on equipment;

  • processing and analysis of measurement results, their comparability with limit readings in accordance with ISO and GOST standards.

3. final:
– preparation of a detailed report for the Customer, which displays:
  • complete information about all work performed – with calculations, graphs, tables and photographs;

  • conclusion about the condition of the diagnosed equipment;

  • a list of recommendations for further equipment maintenance.
