The CN 400-105-C centrifugal pump and the electric pump unit based on it are designed for pumping water and liquids with properties similar to water in terms of viscosity and chemical activity, with temperatures up to 373 K (100º C), solid content by mass up to 0.05%, and a maximum particle size of 0.2 mm.

The pumps are manufactured in climatic version UHL — intended for macroclimatic regions with moderate and cold climates, placement category 4 — operation in spaces with artificially controlled climatic conditions according to GOST 15150-69.

APPLICATION OF CN 400-105 PUMP

The pump belongs to the general-purpose pump category and is designed for pumping water and liquids with properties similar to water in terms of viscosity and chemical activity, with temperatures up to 100 °C, solid content not exceeding 0.05% by mass, maximum particle size 0.2 mm, and microhardness no more than 6.5 MPa (650 kgf/mm²). It is suitable for industrial and municipal water supply systems, agriculture, land reclamation for irrigation and drainage, and other applications.

DESIGN FEATURES OF CN 400-105 PUMP:

  • Horizontal configuration: ensures high vibration resistance, reduces shaft misalignment, and increases the service life of components
  • Volute type with horizontal split along the pump axis: provides high maintainability, easy technical service, and simple operation. Inlet and discharge nozzles located at the bottom of the casing allow assembly/disassembly without disconnecting pipelines
  • Two-stage pump with single-suction impellers
  • Casing: cast iron, two parts (upper – pump cover, lower – pump body), with semi-volute inlet channels, volute outlet, and interstage transfer channel. Inlet and discharge nozzles, bearing supports, leak collection trays, and mounting for bearing housings are cast in the lower part. Nozzles are opposite and perpendicular to pump shaft. Stage cavities are separated by an intermediate sealing ring
  • Rotor: assembled unit with shaft, impellers, protective bushings, rings, bearings, fasteners, and pump half-coupling. Impellers are axially fixed with split rings
  • Symmetrical impeller arrangement (discs facing each other) unloads rotor from axial force
  • Rotor supports: external rolling bearings. Drive side – single-row radial ball bearing (radial loads), opposite side – double-row angular contact ball bearing (radial + residual axial loads). Bearings lubricated with grease, cooled by air
  • Shaft seals: gland type with hydraulic seal; sealing fluid supplied to hydraulic seal ring
  • Torque transmission: elastic pin-bushed coupling between motor and pump
